Use Light Energy for Good Feng Shui in Your Home or Office

Thursday May 10, 2012
feng shui tips
Light is considered our # 1 nutrient and has been called the medicine of the future. Hard to think of light as nutrition, but light is vital nutrition on many levels. Make a habit of paying attention to how much good quality light you actually enjoy throughout the day, as well as the quality and the number of indoor light sources in your home or office.

Your body reacts to everything around you, and you either get nourished or drained by the energy that surrounds you. I strongly encourage you to become aware of the quality of light in your home or office and its influence on your health and well-being.

Knowing that colour is light, how many colors are you actually enjoying in your space? You might not want to create a rainbow of colors in your home, but the truth is that many homes are starving for beautiful, pure colours; starving for more light energy. And you do know what that means, right? Read more

Green It Up: Feng Shui Use of Color Green in Your Home or Office

Friday May 4, 2012
feng shui tips
Green is one of my favourite colours. I love it in most shades and combinations, be it in home decor items, plants or fashion accessories. It is the best colour to bring a sense of freshness and renewal to any space. Feng shui-wise, being the colour of the Wood element, green is much welcomed in almost all bagua areas of your home.

Green is also the hardest colour to work with if you want a lot of green in your home decor. You can end up with an overwhelming amount of flat green energy on your walls and wonder what happened to the brilliant nature green you envisioned in your living room.

The secret of beautiful greens is simple - there is never just one green shade in nature. Have a look outside and try to count how many greens you see, especially on a sunny day. Hundreds, if not thousands.

Curious how to use green colour for best feng shui in your home or office? Read on

Feng Shui Tips To Help Attract What You Need

Thursday May 3, 2012
feng shui tips
If you are looking to attract specific energy in your life, you have to be very clear in determining what you want, and then decide which feng shui area of your home can best attract this energy.

However, you have to know that first there has to be good feng shui energy in your whole house, not just in the one specific feng shui bagua area that is related to your request.

If you focus all your efforts in just one feng shui bagua area, you might get no results, so be mindful about creating a strong feng shui foundation in your house, and only then strengthen specific bagua areas for specific results.

Explore tips for several feng shui bagua areas as related to specific goals. Read more

Use Feng Shui To Open Up A Blocking Wall (@ Home or @Office)

Wednesday May 2, 2012
feng shui tips
In feng shui, the right location of walls can promote a good flow of energy and enhance the positive feelings in a home or office. A challenging wall location will do the opposite - it can block, or completely stop the flow of energy, thus creating a stagnant space where not much good is happening.

Do you have blocking walls in your home or office? An example of a blocking wall in feng shui is a wall that you face as soon as you enter the home, or a wall you are facing while working at your desk.

Basically, these walls not only block the flow of energy in your space, they also block the flow and expansion of your own energy. Not good!

Be sure you understand all the types of blocking walls and, if you have any in your home or office, use feng shui to open them up. Read more
