A Clutter-Free Space for Children is Possible!
Wednesday November 18, 2009
I have consulted for numerous homes overtaken by children's clutter and I know it is a real problem.
Instead of being constantly frustrated by your children's clutter, though, do take some time to create a clear organizational system, then teach your children to stick to it.
Do not forget to give them some time to assimilate the new system; as well as let them make their own mistakes while they are learning.
In the world of energy like attracts like, so if you keep the rest of your house clutter clear and clean (good energy), your child will inevitably learn to manage his or her clutter (bad energy); and good feng shui will win! Is It Good Feng Shui To Have a Mirror on the Bathroom Door?
Tuesday November 17, 2009
If you think you must have a mirror on your bathroom door for good feng shui, it might be good to know that you do not really need it. Unless you absolutely like it and would have it there even if you did not know anything about feng shui!
The first and foremost thing about feng shui cures that work is that they have to be really liked by you and make sense in your overall home decor style.
If you bring a so-called powerful feng shui cure that is supposed to work but looks totally out of sorts in your space, I assure you it will not create good feng shui for you. Maybe even quite the opposite. Read more More : Use of Mirrors in Feng Shui | Feng Shui Mirrors FREE Video Tip |

Check the Flow of Energy in Your Home
Monday November 16, 2009
You do not need to be a feng shui consultant to know how to check the flow of energy in your home. Asking yourself often " How does my home feel?" is a good way to start.
It is especially good to do this little feng shui exercise after you have been away for a while and just entered your home. Your senses are more fresh and you will see and sense more about your own home (and about yourself, too!), because your house is your reflection.
One of the basic ways to check the energy flow in your home is to imagine Chi, or energy, as water. If water where to flow into your home from the main door, where would it stagnate? Read more More : Sheng Chi: Good Feng Shui Energy | Sha Chi and Si Chi: Bad Feng Shui Vibes | What is Chi? |

Feng Shui applied to children's spaces can bring a vibrant, healthy and lasting sense of joy, at the same time providing relief from an overwhelming clutter chaos often present in children's rooms.
Young energy is expansive and vibrant; it needs a sense of uninhibited space in order to thrive. Feng shui can help promote a harmonious growth, thus avoiding cluttered, busy and chaotic energy around your children.

The Miracle of Mirrors - Aspirin of Feng Shui
Thursday November 12, 2009
Mirrors have fascinated humankind since ancient times and have powerful lore attached to them. From protective to reflective to pure "How do I look today?" uses, humans have been using mirrors for centuries.
In feng shui, a mirror brings the energy of the feng shui water element, and it is easy to guess why. Where do you think the origins of mirrors come from? Of course from us looking into our reflection in the water! Pure, deep, and calm water always serves as a reflection of all that is projected into it.
Mirrors have been called the aspirin of feng shui because with proper placement they can dramatically shift the flow of energy in any given space. Mirrors also bring a sense of freshness and calm. Feng Shui Tips for A Bathroom Above the Main Entry
Wednesday November 11, 2009
One of the concerns you might have with the feng shui of a new or existing house is a bathroom over the main entry. As the main door is very important in feng shui, should you consider a house with a bathroom over the main door to have bad feng shui?
Well, first let me suggest we substitute the words "bad feng shui" for "challenging feng shui" or "feng shui concerns". It is more empowering, as well as more accurate. You can change almost any so called "bad feng shui" situation for better if you know how to take care of it.
When a bathroom is located over the main door, it becomes very important to take care of its good feng shui, as the quality of energy that comes through the main door determines the quality of energy in the house. A Bathroom in a Metal Feng Shui Element Area
Tuesday November 10, 2009
Bathrooms do have a bad reputation in feng shui, but they still have to be located somewhere in the house, do they not? If you take good care of the energy in your bathroom, then its location in a specific feng shui element area should not present a problem.
A bathroom in the West or Northwest is not bad, or worse feng shui, than a bathroom in any other feng shui bagua area of the house. You might have a bathroom in the love area, or in the money area.
You might also have a bathroom above the bedroom, or a bathroom above the main entry. In each of these cases you would have to constantly keep an eye on the energy of your bathroom in order to keep the overall energy of your home fresh, stable and harmonious.
