Intelligent Feng Shui: Start Clean

I much hope that in the next several years feng shui, just like yoga, will break away from the heavy stereotypes that surround it and unleash its wisdom to help so many people.

What can you do if you want to use feng shui but feel overwhelmed with the often contradictory information about it? My advice is to start simple and trust yourself. If your home is a sad place to be and clutter has become an integral part of it, there is no use in going into complex levels of calculating you numbers, finding advanced specific cures, etc, etc.

The first rule of feng shui is you have to start clean. Honor yourself and honor your space by keeping it clean, beautiful and simple. Covering up clutter, broken parts, etc does not do much to improve the flow of energy in your home, as there are no "doors" or boundaries in the world of energy.

You have to honestly deal with what's happening in your home, rather than covering things up and pretending it's something different. Just like in life, pretending to be someone you are not, will only go so far, wouldn't it?
