Is Master Bedroom Over the Garage Bad Feng Shui?

Sunday June 17, 2007
master bedroom over the garage - bad feng shui Bedroom over the garage is not the best feng shui set-up, and if you find yourself not sleeping well I would suggest you seek the feng shui advice of a professional feng shui consultant in your area.

As a general rule, a bedroom over the garage is not good for two main reasons:
  1. Garages have a lot of moving, "in and out", unsettling feng shui energy, which is the opposite of the energy you want in the bedroom. Therefore, a bedroom over the garage has a very unstable energy foundation and will not promote good relaxation and sleep. A bedroom over the garage will also weaken the sense of stability in one's life.
  2. Parked cars will emit radiation for a while after being parked, which goes against the need for the bedroom to be the place with the lowest EMF radiation.
The gas emissions are not promoting a healthy quality of energy, either. The feng shui cures in this case will be focused on creating a grounding, stable energy, as well as being aware of the quality of air and the level of electromagnetic fields. Photo: Adam Gault / Getty Images

To the best of my knowledge, cars do emit high EMFs up to 15-20 min after the engine is turned off.

Best to do your own research on it, though.

Cheers,
