Summer Fun - Make Your Feng Shui Notes

Monday July 2, 2007
feng shui summer tips Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day in USA (July 4) mark the beginning of a busy time in North America for summer outdoor celebrations. No matter where you live, though, the essence of the hot season is the same - to lavish us with a strong, yang quality energy of vibrant natural beauty and to create an energy reservoir in your body to sustain you through long cold yin energy months.

A good feng shui suggestion is to keep a summer journal with feng shui notes for your home: recording your discoveries of surprising colors and color combinations that delighted you the most, new scents that made you feel happy; travel experiences that changed your life this summer, etc etc.

Fill your journal with photos, sketches and ideas on how you can bring this strong healing feng shui energy indoors - into your home and office space - to take care of your own energy when you need a boost.

Make it work on more than one feng shui energy level - make it visual (photos, art or drawing) but also make it tactile (seashells, rocks) and involve your olfactory senses, too (dried herbs, a bunch of fresh lavender, a memorable summer scent, etc.)

Here is to Great Summer Celebrations and Fun Feng Shui Journals!
