I am a big fan of lavender, and always carry with me a small bottle of lavender essential oil (

Lavender is considered an ancient symbol of love and cleanliness, and it has a myriad of uses in feng shui. It can be used to bring fresh energy into your home by diffusing or spraying lavender essential oil into air (you can use a natural candle (compare prices) or an electrical essential oil diffuser (compare prices), or go for a quick and easy energy pick-up with a lavender air mist for home (compare prices.)
Placing fresh lavender bunches in your bedroom or bathroom will attract the energy of calm love, and making small feng shui lavender packages for your closets will help keep clutter at bay. I found that while many people can be resistant to using smudge sticks for feng shui space clearing purposes, they do find it easy and enjoyable to burn several sticks of dry lavender.
If you live somewhere near a lavender farm, now is the time to go and pick up your own lavender for feng shui purposes. Bigger farms will even hold lavender festivals throughout July and August where you can also make lavender body products, wreaths and even lavender ice cream! If you live far from a lavender farm, order your lavender on-line, and your home will thank you for the healing presence of this truly magical feng shui helper!

Hi Rodika,
Great article, thank you. How exactly do you use the essential oil? Do you just open the bottle and smell? Is it okay to put few drops on the hands and make head massage? The reason I’m asking is because I read that many essential oils should be applied only in a mix with yogurt or regular oil.
Please advise.
Thank you

I was curious, We planted some lavendar plants in the front steps. but can I take the plants when I move?? Do I pull the whole plant up & will they survive a trip??
It is up to you (and the health of your lavender plants) to decide if you should leave them or take them with you.
If your lavender is planted in the soil, i would leave it, if it is in a pot, then you can sure take it with you.
See what is best for the health of your plant.
Cheers,
Rodika
