Body Feng Shui - For Here and To Go

Wednesday August 1, 2007
body feng shui jewelryWell-designed jewelry is an excellent feng shui way to take care of your personal energy. For a piece of jewelry to work well as a feng shui cure, it does not need to have the words "feng shui" in it, but it does have to have good energy elements, such as a balanced, harmonious design, good feng shui symbols and ideally natural, untreated crystals or stones.

Precious gems, stones and metals have been used since olden times as energy enhancers and protectors.

Depending on the feng shui properties of crystals, they can be used for a variety of purposes - from attracting and keeping love to enhancing a strong spiritual connection. Read more Photo: Stockbyte / Getty Images

Period 8 is a term used in the flying star school of feng shui to define the movement of lucky energies. Flying star is a feng shui school that deals with the Time element. Each time period lasts 20 years. Period 8 started on Feb.4, 2004.

The feng shui flying star school uses advanced caclulations to find out the quadrants, or areas of your house, that have good or bad energy, and then deal with it specifically. The calculations are best done by a professional feng shui consultant, although you can certainly try to do it yourself. First step is to take an accurate compass reading of your house and define the Ba-Gua.

my wedding is coming i just wanted to know if it’s bad luck to wear pearls on your wedding day?

I wouldn’t say it is bad luck to wear pearls on your wedding day. However, pearls are of the water element, and water associates with tears… Pearls are also very gentle and carry a beautiful feminine energy, see here for more feng shui properties of the pearls:

However, for your wedding day you might want to go for jewelry with stronger, as well as more protective energy, maybe? Check the link above for properties of various crystals and stones.

Cheers and best of luck!
