Bad Feng Shui: A Ceiling Fan Above Your Bed

A ceiling fan above your bed is definitely inauspicious. On a feng shui energy level, the ceiling fan above the bed cuts through your personal energy field, even when not in use. Less so, of course, than when it is in use, but still strong.
In fact, any electrical fixture above the bed is not a good feng shui idea.
What can you do, though, if you are renting your home and cannot remove the ceiling fan above your bed?
