Are Beams Bad Feng Shui?

feng shui of beams above the bed Beams, especially beams above the bed, are considered bad feng shui. Now, let's me be clear that beams in themselves are not bad feng shui, I have seen many beautiful houses with beams that only emphasized and strengthened the energy of the home.

So, it is not about the beams per se, as it is about their location in the house. Beams above the bed are always best avoided (just another way of saying beams above the bed are bad feng shui.)

What do you do, though, if you have beams above the bed and you cannot move the bed? Would you place windchimes and flutes as a feng shui cure? Do these feng shui cures really work?

Why do put salt in a bowl in all four corners of a room for 24 hours?

Bowls with salt are used for space clearing purposes in feng shui; they are used to clear the negative energy areas.

They are placed in corners because corners tend to store negative, or stagnant energy.
