Why is Air not a Feng Shui Element?

Have you ever wondered why feng shui doesn't include Air as one of the feng shui elements? Why only five elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood, but no Air? Excellent question!

Feng Shui looks at the interplay of elements as related to your immediate environment, i.e. the elements needed for best balance and harmony for your emotional/physical/mental health & well-being.

For example, an absence of the water feng shui element will contribute to a home where emotions are not easily shared and there tends to be a lot of stress.
