Christmas Holiday Decor: Red and Green or White/Silver and Blue?

Monday December 1, 2008
feng shui christmas colors While the combination of red and green is the traditional color combination for Christmas - green being the wood feng shui element color and red representing the energy of fire - there is one more popular color combination for Christmas that is very soothing indeed.

The combination of white (or silver/ gray) and blue is becoming very popular in Christmas decorations. From a feng shui standpoint, the combination of these colors creates a soothing and calming energy in the season when you need calm and peace.

White, or silver/gray representing the clarity of metal element and blue bringing the calming energy of water create a perfect addition to the wood element of the Christmas tree and the fire element of the Christmas lights and candles. You may also wish to add a bit of the earth element to have a balanced presence of all five feng shui elements.

The truth is that there is so much fire energy created in the Christmas season (this includes the energy of emotions) that limiting the number of red color Christmas homer decor elements can be a good idea.

Of course, the opposite applies if you own a retail store. The stronger the fire energy, the higher the sales!
