The Power of Scent: How Does Your Home Smell?

power of smell We all know the power of smell when it comes to selling a house. The "smell to sell" is a commonly accepted strategy where you use the power of specific scents, mostly warm ones, like the scent of freshly baked cookies or bread, coffee, cinnamon, etc, to "warm up" prospective buyers and make them instantly feel at home in your home.

How about being aware of the power of scents in your house when you have no plans for selling it? Do you actually know how your house smells? Ask a friend or a neighbour about it and you might be surprised by the answer (hopefully, surprised in a good way!)

Knowing that scents are so powerful, you can use different scents for different purposes, kind of like subtly manipulating the energies to achieve the desired results. Read more RELATED:

It’s true! I recently started mopping my floors with tea tree oil, rosemary, lavender, orange and lime essential oils. It makes such a huge difference! The energy in my whole home is fresh and pleasant after using these scents for cleaning.

I just discovered your blog and I’m sure I will find plenty of inspiration here!
