Feng Shui ABC: Use the Search Box

Tuesday February 3, 2009
feng shui When you make feng shui part of your life and focus on re-creating your house for a better energy flow, you will inevitably have many questions.

For example, when you are redecorating a room, should you redecorate it according to the house bagua or just the room bagua? What if the feng shui requirements for the room bagua contradict the requirements for the house bagua?

Furthermore, what if you and your partner, or your children, have different kua numbers and different best directions? Can you possibly create a house that works well for all?

My advice is whenever you feel frustrated, or utterly confused as to what you should do with the feng shui of your home, go back to basics. Fresh air? Good natural light? No clutter? No clutter? Let me ask this again - are you sure you have no clutter in your home? Do you LOVE everything in your home?

I cannot tell you how many times I see people focusing on complex feng shui notions, or look for one perfect feng shui cure and its best feng shui directions, when the house is just screaming for some loving care and attention. Do not hesitate to give your home some love, and then start from there. You will know what to do when the house is cooperating.

PS. When you are looking for a specific feng shui application, be sure to use the search box in the top right corner of this site.
