Do you remember the logo of a large paint manufacturing company that shows a can of paint pouring over the globe? Very, very bad feng shui.
I wonder if the paint company ever did any testing of their business logo. No person in the right mind will ever react favourably to the image of our planet being covered in toxic paint!
Most business logos work by association with the feng shui energy the symbol carries. Basically, when you want to use a symbol or an image in your business logo design, you can go either by illustration or by association, but you have to be very careful with either choice.
The apple in the Apple Inc. company is a perfect example of the feng shui logo use by association; a memorable symbol with great energy. It's the "an apple a day" energy that the Mac computers have certainly become nowadays! The above mentioned example of the paint company business logo would be the worst feng shui use of symbols by association.
