Feng Shui Colors, when used properly, will bring the desired feng shui energy into your environment. Red color carries the energy of Fire element in feng shui. Fire has always been a symbol of divine energy and can be both destructive and creative. It represents the energy of sun and life. A balanced feng shui Fire Element in your home will bring joy, excitement and sexual desire.

The Feng Shui energy of color red is the energy of arousal. It is hot, passionate, rich and celebratory. It is the Chinese color of luck and happiness, the marriage color in India, and the symbolic color of love and romance, courage and passion in the West.

In feng shui color decorating Red always signifies richness and luxury. If used too much, though, it can bring restlessness, burst of anger and over stimulation. Better use it with caution, always easier to bring Red with details and accessories, rather than with furnishings or wall color.

Feng Shui-wise, use with most moderation in children's rooms, freely in the living room, dining and kitchen.

Limit Red color (feng shui Fire energy) in the following Ba-Gua areas of your home: East, Southeast (governed by the Wood element) Home, as well as West and Northwest (governed by the Metal element.)

Being a Fire color, Red is excellent to use in the South (Fame & Reputation), as it matches the element of this direction.
