No matter you feel slightly out of balance, or have been feeling low energy for a long time now, feng shui can help you increase your energy levels and stay healthy.

Applying feng shui wisdom should always be done by priorities, as you need to create a good foundation for more advanced feng shui cures to really work. If you skip the basic steps, you might as well not bother with deeper feng shui levels. By comparison, just like applying the best high quality make-up will not help the skin look and feel better, if the skin is not cleansed and taken care of properly on a very basic level, the same with more complex feng shui cures.

Below are three absolute, "must-have" priorities for a space to keep you healthy:
  1. Fresh air.

  2. Natural light, as well as several levels of artificial lighting, when needed.

  3. A clutter-free space.
Once you have them in place, you can start applying more specific feng shui cures, such as having lush green plants (Wood element) or a water feature (Water element) in the East area of your space. If you would rather not have plants or a water feature in your space, you can bring the energy of the above mentioned elements with color (green or brown for Wood and blue or black for Water) or art depicting either a body of water (river, ocean, lake, etc) or lush greenery.

The view you see first thing as you come into your space is very important, as is the view from your bed. These might sound like minor details, but they set the energy your body is receiving in subtle, but very powerful ways. Treat your body with respect and give it the energy of beauty and joy - it will inevitably attract good health and well-being.
