The author gives numerous examples from many native cultures around the world on ways to work with energy, and the deep wisdom and simplicity of these stories is captivating. From home protectors and energizers to rituals for moving into a new home, from understanding your home as a being to healing earth stories, this book will give you plenty of inspiration and easy ideas to apply in your home.
The book will also give you a lot of helpful insights into working with essential oils to improve the energy in your home, explain how color can be used for healing, as well as show you ways to release the negative past. "Sacred Space" has 19 chapters packed with info and is written in a caring, sincere voice.
The only drawback with this book is its chapter on feng shui, as it gives mostly a short overview of the BTB school of feng shui and is slightly misleading.
After all these years, "Sacred Space: Clearing and Enhancing the Energy of Your Home" is still the book I recommend when someone asks: "Where do I start with feng shui?"
