Spring season is full of celebrations, all of them reflecting the beauty of nature renewal and a genuine hope for a new beginning. Is the feng shui energy of your home reflecting this vibrant renewal?
When you are truly in tune with the energy of spring, you can tap into the source of miracles. The energy that helps miracles happen is fully manifesting itself in spring; it's an on-going free teaching class, courtesy of mother Nature!
The more open you are to establishing a genuine relationship with nature, the further and faster you will go with mastering the feng shui wisdom.
Tap into this vibrant quality of fresh spring energy, try to understand it and utilize it in your life. Turn off the TV and cancel the trip to the mall; take a long walk in the woods instead. Watch the nature gracefully renew itself - from a little blade of grass to an old tree - all expressing the birth of vibrant new energy. Absorb this energy, teach your heart to accept it and understand it, allow it to happen in your own life.
I live several steps from the rainforest, the ocean and a beautiful lake with lush vegetation. There are numerous birds, mischievous raccoons, squirrels, skunks and even coyotes close to us. It is always beautiful here, but spring is beyond amazing - you see and hear so much more, as the colors and the songs of birds bring a very vibrant and celebratory quality of energy. When I first moved in, I always tried to bring home a little token from my nature walks - be it a small rock or a fallen branch. I still do that sometimes, but much less, most probably because over the years I have worked on aligning my home to the natural rhythms.
How new is your home this spring? How fresh and how happy? New energy does not equal new things, not at all. New energy equals a fresh new way of looking at what you love. New energy also equals letting go of that which does not serve you anymore. To accept new things into your life, you have to let go of the old, right?
Find some time alone to do the clutter clearing, do some space clearing, too. Bring fresh flowering plants into your space for good spring feng shui; re-arrange the furniture for a new flow, let go of some stuff that you are not connected to anymore.
Open up your closets and let go of at least 2-3 clothing items you have not worn in a long time; someone out there really needs it. Put some rose quartz crystals close to your bed and re-position the bed slightly.
Keep the windows open the whole day. Open up to new energy. Allow it to enter your life.
If you feel tired after a long winter, if you are going through many changes and your heart is full of fear and despair, go out in nature for more than just a quick walk. Go to connect. Ask your questions in silence. Listen. Listen to everything around you and the answer will come. Along with more power.
This is how feng shui started thousands of years ago: wise sages were learning from nature at the banks of the eternal Tao. They listened with reverence and awe, then translated their knowledge to the many who were willing to change.
You are part of Nature and you are much loved; align with nature and its rhythms, and let your home express this alignment. Stay close to nature and everything else will follow.
