Colors
- I like sage because it gives the room an earthy feel & kinda calms your nerves. Light colors open up a room but you don't want them to be too bright because it's destracting.

Warm and Cool
- I'm not sure why, but my favourite colour combination is chocolate brown, rust-orange, and teal. These are the main colours in my living room now, along with beige walls. I have been told they remind people of Aztec colours, and I have to agree. For years, I have used greens predominately and wanted something different. I still love to look at greens in a home, especially a light spring-green with white, because it looks airy and fresh. In the bedroom, I like to see a lot of beige, and find it looks especially nice with a light green or blue. Somehow it is relaxing to see a bed adorned with many off-white or beige vintage-style cushions that are varied in texture if not colour. For the body, I have always been most attracted to autumn colours, because they are earthy and make me feel calm. I love to experiment with colour, and consider decorating both body and home an art form. Sometimes warm and cool colours can be combined to pleasing effect.

- clear shades of yellow, although clear golds are difficult to find. These colours promote a sense of peace, relaxation, contentment for me, particularly when BLENDED with red to rose tints.
